Control4 drivers that are set up, not programmed.
Two drivers for the things dealers still build by hand in Composer: a house state on one Navigator button, and a room favourite that dims. Every setting is a field on the Properties page. Free for 30 days on each controller, then one licence per project.
No account needed to try. Dealers get two free controllers.
Table Lamps
One Tap Buttons and a Light Proxy on one room screen.
The drivers
Each one is a single c4z, added from Composer Pro and set up from its Properties page. Both check in with the same licence service and share your projects and licences.
One Tap Button
One button for any state of the house: a lighting scene, the curtains, the thermostats, the media off, or all of them at once.
- A lighting scene (activate or turn off), blind positions, thermostat presets and the media off in one button; leave any section empty.
- Media off in every room, the room the button is in, or the rooms you tick, the way each room's Off button does; the button stays lit only while those rooms are off.
- Up to five groups of thermostats and five of blinds, each with its own preset or position: the bedrooms to Sleep while the rest go to Comfort, the sheers open while the drapes close.
Light Proxy
A dimmer that gets the X4 slider widget: it stands in for one light, a group, or a lighting scene, and dims them from the home and room screens.
- The X4 light widget with the brightness slider, for loads whose own widget only switches on and off.
- One light, a group, or an Advanced Lighting scene: the slider sets every light to the same level, or scales the scene; on and off let each light use its own preset.
- Follows the lights: the tile shows the highest reported level, and a change made from a keypad or by programming shows at once.
Every setting is a field on the driver's Properties page. Nothing to write, nothing to debug, nothing to hand over.
A licence unlocks a driver on one controller, for as many copies as the project needs, and moves between your projects.
Your showroom and your own home are licensed for every driver, automatically.
How it works
Download
Add a driver in Composer Pro and set it up from Properties. Free for 30 days on that controller, no account needed.
Create a project
Apply for a free dealer account, add the customer's project, and type its short code into the driver. The controller links itself on the next check-in.
License the project
One licence per driver covers every copy of it on that controller. Move it to another project when the customer changes.
